Township Awarded Park, Trails and Recreations Grant

In September the Township was awarded a Park, Trails and Recreations Grant from the State of Pennsylvania.  Improvements will be hard surface paths to make areas of the park more accessible. A basketball/Dek hockey court, two pickleball courts, batting cage, bocce court, childs play area with mini basketball hoop and a gaga pit.  Construction will begin soon and hopefully finished by early Spring.

The Township Supervisors at their October meeting approved the purchase of a portable ice rink.  The rink will be installed on the front ball field of the Park.  The Supervisors were looking into ways to provide not only the youth of the Township, but everyone an enjoyable winter activity.  The rink will be open to the public. We will have designated times and days for open skate and hockey play. We will keep you informed of the plans once we get closer to the colder temperatures. The rink is manufactured by EZ Ice.
