Shenango Township consistists of 30 square miles. Interstate 80 runs through the Township with the Township being on the western most point in Pennsylvania. The Township borders Ohio to the west. It is halfway between Pittsburgh, Pa and Cleveland, Oh. The population is 3,695 people as of the 2020 census. There are 1,813 households with 30% having children under the age of 18. The median resident age is 56.3 years old. The Township is part of the West Middlesex Area School District along with the Borough of West Middlesex and Lackawannock Township. The township has a beautiful park that sits right behind the Township building with something to offer for all ages. It’s also a great place to host summer picnics and parties.
